MOT testing to Class 4 level
At Parkside Garage, we offer MOT testing to Class 4 level which is the statutory testing of motor vehicles such as cars and light commercials.
We have a state-of-the-art ATL testing station with customer viewing area using the latest testing equipment to ensure your vehicle is tested fairly and consistently following DVSA guidelines.
MOT slots are available from 8.30am then every hour thereafter, the last test slot is 16.00pm.

CRITICAL AREAS
During the MOT test, several critical areas of your vehicle will be examined to ensure they meet legal requirements:
Body and vehicle structure: Examine for excessive corrosion or damage, ensuring no sharp edges that could cause injury.
Fuel system: Check for leaks and ensure the fuel cap fastens securely.
Exhaust emissions: Ensure the vehicle meets requirements for emissions based on its age and fuel type.
Exhaust system: Ensure it’s secure, complete, without significant leaks, and effectively silences.
Seat belts: Check for correct installation, type, condition, operation, and security. All compulsory seat belts must be in place.
Seats: Confirm that front seats are secure, and that front and rear backseats can be properly secured in the upright position.
